Dr. Heuschmann is a veterinarian, Pferdewirt (professional rider & trainer schooled in horse management by the German National Equestrian Federation), and author of the book “Tug of War Classical versus “Modern” Dressage, and the DVD if “Horses Could Speak”. His lecture includes 3-D modeling of the horse’s movement and the lecture has been expanded with new material. He is committed to helping riders understand how use biomechanics to keep their horses sound & healthy.

Clinician Biographies
KATHLEEN RAINE
Kathleen Raine helped the USET win the team Bronze Medal for the Dressage World Championship at the 1994 World Equestrian Games in Holland. She was the U.S. League Final Reserve Champion in 1994 and finished sixth overall at the Dressage World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden.
While competing abroad in 1995, Raine was also a team Bronze Medalist at Rotterdam and finished first in the Grand Prix Freestyle at CDI Donaueschingen. On U.S. soil, Raine has added many impressive wins to her career accomplishments. In 1999, she won the Grand Prix at Dressage at Indio.
In 1996, she won the Miller's/USET Grand Prix qualifier at Del Mar Dressage and Los Angeles CDI. In 1995, she was also victorious in both the Grand Prix and Freestyle at Paddock CDI-W. In addition, she won the Grand Prix Freestyle at DG Bar Ranch Show and the Grand Prix Special at CDI-W Flintridge.
Raine began competing in dressage after graduating from high school and has been coached by Olympic veteran Hilda Gurney, Johann Hinnemann and Dennis Callin. She resides Temecula, CA, with her husband David Wightman, who also competes in dressage.
